About the Role

Parkwood Project Management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Planned Capital Projects across a national portfolio of leisure facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the delivery of Planned Capital Projects, including the management of project finances, risk management, and lifecycle management.
  • Allocate Project Managers and establish resourcing arrangements, including the appointment of professional teams and contractors.
  • Ensure the completion of building surveys and provide advice on design, construction, repair, and refurbishment.
  • Establish project briefs, develop designs and specifications, and undertake tendering processes.
  • Design and oversee works using recognized building contracts and current technical standards.
  • Complete project inspections at key stages and manage project budgets.
  • Produce reports for distribution to Group Directors.

Requirements

  • Dynamic, forward-thinking individual with a determination to make a difference within the Leisure Sector.
  • Related Built Environment Degree level (or equivalent) qualification and demonstrable related experience.
  • RICS/CIOB accreditation is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience within PFI/PPP project arrangements is beneficial.
