**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our community healthcare team in Northern Devon.

As an experienced Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in their own homes, managing a varied caseload that includes post-op rehab, pathway 2 rehab in care homes, long-term condition management, falls prevention, and same-day equipment assessments.

You will require sound moving and handling skills, good problem-solving abilities, prioritization, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Lone working will be required as part of the role, and you will need to have access to a car to complete community visits.

The successful candidate will be entered onto the team rota for late shifts (either -6pm or -8pm depending on capacity) and weekends, with toil time provided to compensate.

**The Role**

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large and well-established community team, working in a supportive environment with regular supervision, CPD groups, training, and peer support.

As an Occupational Therapist at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust, you will be responsible for supervising and developing Band 5 Occupational Therapists, students, and support staff assigned to you.

Excellent IT skills are required to coordinate the smooth running of the service and utilize the benefits of our online MyCare portal.
