About the Role

As a White Goods Engineer at Currys Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and repair white goods in customers' homes, ensuring their appliances are in top condition.

We're looking for skilled individuals who can work efficiently and effectively, managing their time to maximize productivity. A valid UK/EU driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points is essential, as you will be required to drive company vans and travel to various locations throughout the day.

You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and quarterly bonus schemes. In addition, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including product discounts across the latest technology and a competitive salary of £32,000 - £38,000 per annum (OTE £35k - £41k), increasing to £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (OTE £35k - £41k) for Gas qualified professionals.

Schedule and Work Environment

As a White Goods Engineer, you can expect to work an average of 41 hours per week, with some Saturday working on a rostered basis. However, we guarantee that you will not work on Sundays. You will be responsible for managing your own day, prioritizing tasks and making the most of your time to meet deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A full UK/EU driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Ideally (but not essential) ACS Qualifications (or equivalent) in Essential Gas Safety Domestic (CCN1), Gas Cookers and Ranges (CKR1).
  • Company-approved tools and van.
  • A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
