About the Role

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing Positive Attachment services and has a strong understanding of Alcohol and/or Substance Misuse support. As a Community Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload and completing individual needs assessments, risk assessments, and support plans.

You will build and maintain positive relationships with individuals to address their accommodation and wider support needs. You will also enhance their social skills and participate in their community. Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload and complete individual needs assessments, risk assessments, and support plans.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals to address their accommodation and wider support needs.
  • Enhance their social skills and participate in their community.
  • Support service users to identify areas of support needed and provide practical advice and advocacy.
  • Liaise with relevant services and organizations to access additional support for service users.
  • Enable service users to administer their financial affairs as appropriate.

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional development.
