About the Role:
    We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at the company workshop in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will aid in the production and repair of electrical and mechanical components for the Rail Industry.

Key Responsibilities:
    

  • Assemble, evaluate, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and apparatus.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment and apparatus.
  • Conduct diagnostic and fault-finding activities.
  • Crimp and terminate electrical connections.
  • Read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Perform occasional site work at Rail Depots in the East Midlands and Merseyside.

Requirements:
    
  • Relevant experience in Rail / Rolling Stock, Industrial Electrical, HGV / PSV, and Heavy Engineering.
  • NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds Level 3 / Electrical-based Apprenticeship.
