Reed Engineering & Manufacturing is a leading Engineering & Manufacturing company looking for a skilled Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join their team.

**Salary**

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

**Job Description**

The Manufacturing Operations Specialist will be responsible for the setting and operation of various equipment, including CNC deep hole borers, CNC Lathes, and ancillary support equipment. They will also be involved in in-process inspection, swarf removal, and material movement.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Setting and operation of CNC deep hole borers, CNC Lathes, and ancillary support equipment
* In-process inspection and swarf removal
* Material movement using crane and pedestrian pallet lifter
* Involvement in improvement activities, problem-solving reports, and method improvement
* Efficiency data collection, setup reductions, and toolroom activities
* Active participation in team meetings and maintaining high housekeeping standards
* Training other team members and operator machine maintenance

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

* Demonstrable experience of machining difficult to machine alloys such as nickel (718)
* Development/improvement activities and CNC controls
* Positive attitude to safety & quality
