Job Title: Financial Manager - Rent and Service Charges

Cy Resourcing is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the rent and service charge function, including line management of the Finance Officer (Rent and Service Charge).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the rents and service charge function, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and review annual rental income and service charge budgets, ensuring that service charge costs are accurately determined and charged.
  3. Customer Service: Resolve customer queries and complaints related to the rent and service charge function, providing excellent customer service.
  4. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and management information to stakeholders.
  5. System Maintenance: Ensure that systems and databases used for rent and service charge calculation and charging are up-to-date, accurate, and contain relevant information.
  6. Policy Development: Develop and review rent and service charge setting policies, controls, procedures, and processes to maintain efficiencies.
  7. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with stakeholders, including residents, to provide advice and guidance on rent and service charge matters.
  8. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to the business on rent and service charge accounting and management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rent and service charge accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
