Corporate Counsel Role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to join our team at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in compliance and litigation, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The estimated salary for this role is between £65,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Job

This Corporate Counsel position involves working closely with our compliance and litigation teams to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business transactions. You will be responsible for providing expert advice on compliance policies, conducting investigations, and supporting sales teams with transactional matters.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic guidance on compliance policies and procedures;
  • Conducting and supporting compliance investigations, including interviews and report preparation;
  • Supporting sales teams with contract negotiation and drafting;
  • Participating in the development of tools and information to support internal clients;

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5-7 years PQE experience in compliance and/or litigation matters;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Prior transactional contracting experience is highly desirable;
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment;
  • High level of integrity and authenticity;
  • Collaborative team player with a willingness to deliver solutions to complex problems.
