We are seeking a highly skilled Ocean Freight Export Specialist to join our team at Freight Personnel. As an Ocean Freight Export Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of freight from our clients to their destinations around the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure excellent customer service
  • Coordinate the export of freight, including arranging haulage with shipping lines and ensuring all necessary documentation is in place
  • Manage and resolve any issues or queries that may arise during the export process
  • Communicate effectively with clients, overseas agents, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication
  • Use customer ERP and SAP systems to track and manage freight movements
Requirements:
  • Experience in ocean freight forwarding, with a strong understanding of export procedures and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £30,000 to £38,000, dependent on experience
