NHS Professionals Limited is seeking a skilled Nurse Team Leader to join our team in the PICU department. As a Nurse Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing both acute medical needs and long-term health management.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Complying with NMC Professional Registration and keeping up to date with current nursing practices
- Undertaking nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual
- Being proficient in the delivery of care to patients
- Ensuring safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies
- Ensuring accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
- Carrying out nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and standards

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a PICU hospital environment within the last 3 years
- Statement of NMC Registration
- Degree /Diploma in Nursing
