Job Overview

Main Duties
  • Work alongside the Early Intervention Team in South and Central Manchester, undertaking physical health checks, physical health clinics, and general health and wellbeing assessments.
  • Assess physiological observations and promote healthy lifestyles for our service users.
  • Assist in enabling service users to access the support they need to recover from their mental health and physical health problems, promoting recovery in order to return to everyday living.
  • Contribute to the CPA process, liaising with care coordinators to contribute towards CPA needs and reviews.

Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) Foundation Trust employs over 6,400 members of staff, who deliver services from more than 160 locations.

We provide inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford, Trafford, and the borough of Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England, and beyond.

Person Specification
  • Recognised competency-based level 3 NVQ in a relevant subject area or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Experience of working in a mental health care setting.
  • Experience working in a community setting.
  • Experience of MDT working.
Skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work flexibly.
  • Venepuncture trained.
