H9 Technical is seeking an experienced Site Quantity Surveyor to support a leading EPC contractor in the power generation sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough site measurements to ensure accurate quantity reports.
- Remeasure and value selected subcontract packages in accordance with contractual measurement rules and standard methods.
- Monitor changes to drawings and site conditions, and implement mitigation measures to reduce potential impacts.
- Develop and issue comprehensive cost reports, reflecting the financial position of each package and forecasting commercial status and cash flow.
- Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to ensure seamless site operations.
- Administer subcontracts, maintaining comprehensive records and ensuring compliance with client procedures and legislation.
- Document commercial aspects of changes, deviations, and claims in PIRS, working closely with technical and project teams.
Requirements
- Quantity Surveyor with experience in managing civil, groundworks, and construction packages.
- Strong knowledge of remeasurement rules (CESMM4, SMM7, NRM) and standard form contracts.
- Proficient in PIRS and capable of working collaboratively with technical and commercial teams.
- BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with RICS membership or working towards membership.
