Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our maintenance team at Resourcing Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of repair, maintenance, and refurbishment tasks across the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carpentry Work: Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including door and window installation/repair, furniture assembly/repair, shelving, skirting, partition walls, and other woodwork.
  • Measure, Cut, Shape, and Assemble: Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials for construction and repair tasks.
  • Install and Repair: Install and repair locks, handles, hinges, and other fixtures.
  • Refurbishment Projects: Participate in refurbishment projects, including renovations and modifications of existing structures.
  • Collaboration and Safety: Collaborate with other trades and contractors to ensure smooth and efficient project completion, and adhere to all health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements: The successful candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
