Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Children's Education and Development Support Professional to join our team at Bright Horizons Tonbridge Day Nursery and Preschool.

Salary and Benefits

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a larger team to ensure the delivery of the EYFS framework in a fun and engaging way. The role will involve supporting nursery colleagues in creating entertaining and educational play and activities that promote children's development towards key milestones. You will also be responsible for supervising children throughout the day, ensuring their safety and well-being.

In addition, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day-to-day basis. This will involve adhering to child protection and safeguarding procedures and policies at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience working with children, a passion for making learning fun and engaging, and excellent communication skills. You should also have a sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.

Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as you will be required to work in different nurseries and support a variety of working cultures. A flexible approach to working hours is also necessary, as you will need to support nurseries within a pre-agreed radius of your home address.
