Job Description

We are seeking an experienced paralegal to join our team in London for a hybrid role that blends in-office and remote work. As a paralegal, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with UK laws and regulations, and providing valuable support and legal advice on contract-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including supplier agreements and service contracts.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with UK laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Provide legal advice on contract-related matters, including interpretation, enforcement, and risk management.
  • Assist with in-house employment matters, including drafting contracts and managing employee records.
  • Handle commercial property documents, such as licenses and wayleaves.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with business needs and objectives.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, approving, executing, and archiving.
  • Contribute to the development of standard contract templates and processes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working as a paralegal, including some experience in an in-house environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in employment, commercial property, or commercial contract law.
  • Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and analyzing contracts.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate legal concepts clearly.
  • A keen eye for detail, problem-solving prowess, and a proactive approach.

Location and Travel
  • This role will be a hybrid working environment (2 days in-office / 3 days remote).
