Role Overview

CHC Helicopters is seeking a highly skilled and experienced helicopter pilot to join our Aberdeen Oil and Gas Operation team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to CHC operational standards and regulations.
  • Support the aircraft commander in ensuring safe flight operations.
  • Ensure safety and customer service are paramount in all interactions.
  • Facilitate effective communication with customers and represent CHC in a professional manner.
  • Maintain situational awareness of weather conditions, NOTAMs, sea state, and customer offshore facility status.
  • Stay up-to-date on operational and safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Flight Operations Management team.
  • Work base will be Aberdeen, with possible secondments to other operating bases.
  • Roster options include 7/7 or 12/9.

Requirements

  • Valid UK ATPL (H) or CPL(H) with ATPL (H) Theoretical exams.
  • Valid Multi Engine Instrument rating (H) with Performance Based Navigation (PBN).
  • Valid UK Class 1 Medical.
  • English Proficiency Level 4 minimum, 5 or 6 preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Type rating on S92, EC175 & AW139.
  • Previous experience working with Offshore Oil and Gas.
  • Minimum of 500 hours on a Multi Engine.
  • Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) Course (H).

Attributes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and able to work with a large and varied workload.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
  • IT literate to work with CHC IT systems.
  • Living or willing to live within 1 hour travel distance from the allocated base is desirable.
