About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Engineer to join our UK Lifecycle Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of their DeltaV DCS/SIS systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a deep understanding of DeltaV and its complementary products, as well as the infrastructure on which it is deployed.
  • Take ownership of deployment projects, from proposal and design through to site execution.
  • Perform maintenance tasks on customer systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Support the sales team in promoting and selling products and services in our portfolio.
  • Be part of the on-call team, ready to respond to customer emergencies and provide 24/7 support.
Requirements
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in installing and maintaining hardware and software on customer sites.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers.
  • Understanding of computer, network, and control system architectures, including Virtualisation.
  • Ability to install Microsoft Windows and DeltaV applications, as well as resolve issues in a calm and structured manner.
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of our customers, including occasional work offshore, unsociable hours, and weekends.
