About This Role">

We're seeking a Highway Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Access Talent Group. As a key member of our consultancy, you'll play a crucial role in planning and development projects, focusing on health and safety, asset management, and technical briefs.

You'll work closely with us to identify asset needs, develop maintenance solutions, and ensure the well-being of customers and employees. Your strong interpersonal skills will be essential in inspiring confidence and driving positive action within our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee health and safety protocols to protect customers and employees during service activities.
  2. Analyze asset requirements to inform future maintenance and improvement initiatives.
  3. Create comprehensive asset renewal and improvement plans, leveraging established methodologies and prioritization criteria.
  4. Assist in the identification and management of asset studies and survey works.
  5. Collaborate on early solutions development for improvements and renewals, including document compilation.
  6. Support the development of technical briefs for design and construction contractors.
  7. Foster a deep understanding of Highways England's role and significance within the Strategic Road Network.
  8. Develop personal influence to drive confidence and effective decision-making within our team.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive annual salary of £45,000, reflecting the critical nature of this position in delivering seamless transportation infrastructure services in Yorkshire.
