The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of critical care services.
The role will involve working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Providing expert critical care to patients with complex medical conditions
- Leading a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
- Developing and implementing critical care services to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- Full GMC registration with license to practice
- Inclusion on the Specialist Register for Intensive Care Medicine
- FICM approved training in Intensive Care Medicine to Consultant level
- FFICM or DICM or EDIC
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
- Experience of working well within a team and leading a team
- Ability to critically appraise published evidence
- Experience of teaching Foundation Year and Specialty Trainees
