Medacs Healthcare seeks a skilled Clinical Advisor to join their team in York. As a Disability Assessment Specialist, you will use your clinical expertise to assess and discuss how conditions impact daily living, conducting telephone and face-to-face assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong report writing and communication skills are essential for this role.
  • You will need to possess organisation and time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in typing and IT system navigation is also required.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality services with integrity is crucial.

Essential Qualifications:

  • You must be a registered Paramedic with current and unrestricted HCPC registration.
  • We welcome applications from NMC Registered Nurses (RN), Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN), or Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD).
  • HCPC Registered Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists are also encouraged to apply.
  • A minimum of 1-year post-registration UK experience in the NHS or private healthcare providers is necessary.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £36,000 - £37,500 per annum, with opportunities for increases and bonuses. You will also receive a generous annual leave package, flexible working solutions, and access to an Employee Assistance Programme and wellness resources.
