About the Role

The Software Development Team Lead is responsible for the end-to-end execution of customer-facing mobile and web applications. This is a hands-on position where you'll be involved in release planning, functional and technical design & specification, testing, working with key strategic partners, and managing a team of developers and testers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble project plans, give teamwork assignments, identify resource needs, and escalate any issues appropriately.
  • Manage projects day-to-day, ensuring adherence to Builder delivery processes to ensure consistent high-quality end results.
  • Recognize and mitigate risk in the agreed delivery to the customer, manage and communicate any concerns to minimize impact.
  • Identify delivery process improvements and share with team members and leadership to drive continuous improvement across the Delivery Organization.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a hands-on software engineer.
  • Ability to participate and lead requirements gathering, scrum, status meetings.
  • Strong technical proficiency, specifically relating to mobile and web application development, JavaScript, and frameworks like React and React Native.
  • Ability to develop project/product plans, manage individual deadlines, and goals.
  • Ability to grasp issues quickly and factor in technical dependencies and system limitations and constraints.
  • Able to work well under pressure and comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments.

Nice-to-Haves

  • CSM/PMP certification.
