In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for public health and community engagement.
Responsibilities- Lead group walks in the community, promoting physical activity and social connection among participants.
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer walk leaders to support the program.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to promote the program and secure funding.
- Conduct outreach and education activities to raise awareness about the benefits of walking and healthy living.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of public health principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Comfortable with public speaking and able to convey information to groups.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (preferred but not required).
