Audit and Accounts Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for overseeing the audit and accounts functions for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and complete audits for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Allocate audit work in the field and the office.
- Complete the audit file electronically.
- Review statutory accounts.
- Prepare tax computations when relevant to audit assignments.
- Work closely with clients to build trusted relationships.
- Deliver a strong commercial awareness and review opportunities for fee development.
- Confidently present work to Partners and complete files to a high standard.
- Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance.
- Delegate work to and mentor an audit team, supporting their learning and development.
- Set an example for the team as a natural leader.
- Represent the firm at networking opportunities and support the provision of marketing and sales services.
