About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Harrods, a world-renowned luxury department store. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the bar team to deliver on combined Harrods goals, as agreed with the Head Bartender and Bar Manager.
  • Participate in the drinks and menu development process, including ideation, planning, development, execution, and feedback.
  • Work with the Head Bartender and Bar Supervisor to drive bar sales and service excellence.
  • Provide menu introductions to guests and make recommendations based on customer preferences, creating bespoke drinks as needed.
  • Maintain an immaculate appearance, adhering to the bar's dress code, uniform policy, and hygiene standards.
  • Learn and retain knowledge of cocktail menus, including drink contents, glassware, type of ice, and garnish, as well as outlets, wine, beverage, and food menus.
  • Attend all trainings for the team on drinks and beverage knowledge to support self and team development.
About You

You will have a great understanding of the level of service expected in a fine dining environment. You are reliable, work well in a team, and are a good listener and supporter of others.

You are an excellent communicator, able to motivate your colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the operation, maintaining company standards at all times. You have excellent organizational skills, customer service focus, and the ability to work at pace while remaining calm and self-assured.
