Charity Community Fundraiser Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join CHM as a Charity Community Fundraiser. The organisation has been providing accommodation and support to homeless men and women for over 50 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise funds and awareness to benefit people moving on from homelessness, enhancing the charity's impact on the community.
  • Develop and manage partnerships to secure additional income generation strategies.
  • Promote the charity's awareness to local communities, corporate supporters, and individual donors.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the charity's fundraising strategy.
  • Identify and secure new fundraising opportunities, engaging with local businesses to develop corporate support.
  • Lead the Community Events Working Group to develop and deliver community events.
  • Maintain accurate records of individual donors in the charity's CRM system.
  • Manage social media channels effectively, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Develop the legacy fundraising stream, ensuring all activities are compliant with GDPR regulations.

Salary and Benefits:

  • The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately £38,000, based on industry standards and location.
  • 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • 25 days annual leave rising to 30 plus your birthday off.
