About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accountant to join our Finance team at the John Lewis Partnership. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our external financial reporting and statutory accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage external reporting processes, including half-year and annual reporting, critical accounting estimates and judgements, and statutory reporting.
  • Support project management for the Annual Report and Accounts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Oversee quality control measures to ensure compliance with IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
  • Interact with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.

Requirements

  • Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent.
  • External financial reporting experience and IFRS knowledge.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of Oracle financial systems.
  • External audit experience.
  • Excel and modelling skills.
