Manufacturing Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician - Mig Welding to join our client's team in Portadown. As a key member of the manufacturing department, you will be responsible for using Mig welding techniques to manufacture machinery while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
About the Role
Your working hours will be from Monday to Thursday (8am-4:30pm) and Friday (until 3pm), with some flexibility available if required. You will be required to read engineering drawings and utilize hand tools and machinery safely. A competitive pay rate of up to £34,000 per annum, plus overtime rates, is offered, along with additional benefits such as flexibility with start times, a perk card, and subsidized canteen access.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of Mig welding techniques and the ability to read engineering drawings. At least 2 years' experience as a welder is preferred, along with excellent timekeeping and a positive attitude towards work. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are also essential qualities for this position.
