Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Randstad Construction & Property. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems in commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical equipment and systems
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and issues
  • Carry out minor remedial tasks and repairs
  • Conduct PAT testing and other safety checks
  • Work on lighting systems, including changing lamps and ballasts
  • Test emergency lighting systems
  • Work on power distribution systems
  • Perform small works, including installing new sockets, lights, and circuits
  • Maintain control panels and other electrical equipment
  • Work with transformers and star delta starters
Requirements
  • Qualification in electrical installation, such as NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds
  • Experience working in commercial environments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

  • A competitive salary of £38k - £40k
  • A static role with no call-out
  • A Monday to Friday schedule with hours from 7am to 4pm
  • 25 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
