We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic team at Class People, a newly formed SEN school in the Forest of Dean. As an English Teacher for SEN Students, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our students with Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with a range of SEND.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  3. Develop and implement IEPs and EHCPs for students with SEN, regularly reviewing and updating as necessary.
  4. Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and inspire students with SEN.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant SEN experience.
  2. Knowledge of various learning difficulties and disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.
  3. Familiarity with the latest SEN legislation and best practices.
  4. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  5. Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational trends.
