We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic team at Class People, a newly formed SEN school in the Forest of Dean. As an English Teacher for SEN Students, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our students with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with a range of SEND.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and implement IEPs and EHCPs for students with SEN, regularly reviewing and updating as necessary.
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and inspire students with SEN.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant SEN experience.
- Knowledge of various learning difficulties and disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.
- Familiarity with the latest SEN legislation and best practices.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational trends.
