Job Overview

We are recruiting Freelance Linguistic Specialists to provide interpreting services in various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, and Police. The successful candidates will have fluency in English and another language.

The role involves listening to, understanding, and reproducing speech into the target language with 100% accuracy. You will interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services, check the non-English speakers' understanding, and liaise between service users and providers.

Requirements
  • Fluent in English and another language
  • Aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered, or Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
