Job Title: Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and professional leadership to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines to ensure best practice.
  • Lead on quality initiatives and accreditation exercises to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and promote clinical excellence.
  • Develop and maintain competencies associated with the role, ensuring yourself and direct reports are working within own limitations.
  • Work at all times within the NMC Code of professional practice.
  • Personally responsible to maintain NMC registration and professional development in line with the expectations of the role.
Requirements:
  • 1st level Registered Nurse with current registration with the UK Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Post registration qualification in First contact care, Chronic Disease management, or equivalent.
  • Master degree in a health-related subject, or already working towards ANP Masters.
  • Independent Nurse Prescriber.
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional development (CPD).
  • Post registration qualification in autonomous practice or equivalent.
