Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team in Central Edinburgh. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a retail clothing, gift, and souvenir shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the shop's operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and stock management.
- Provide exceptional customer service, handling purchases, inquiries, and resolving customer complaints.
- Supervise and train a small team of staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain stock levels, place orders for products, and ensure the shop is clean and organized.
- Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Retail Store Manager.
- Organized with great attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Good administrative skills, including stock management and cash handling.
- Ability to manage and motivate a small team.
- Happy to be hands-on and take initiative.
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.00-£13.50 per hour.
- A 40-hour working week.
- The opportunity to work with a well-established and successful retail chain.
