Chief Information Officer

As a key member of the Hatched Recruitment Group team, we are seeking a highly skilled Chief Information Officer to join our organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all contacts and referrals to Children's Social Care and the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) are processed within agreed timescales and are an accurate record of requests for information and/or services.
The role involves maintaining confidentiality on all information relating to service users and staff, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act, London Safeguarding procedures, and other relevant legislation.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to represent the MASH at internal and external meetings, and provide regular feedback on service development and improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and reliable records of all incoming correspondence and ensure that all safeguarding issues are immediately raised with the Duty Manager for assessment.
- Produce statistical information that supports managerial decision making based on reliable and high-quality data.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to provide consultation, advice, support, signposting, and feedback through various communication methods.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and safeguarding procedures. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
