Job Summary

In-Business Quality Assurance Practices is responsible for verifying that established standards and processes are followed and consistently applied within Institutional Credit Management (ICM). This role reports to the WCR In-Business QA Head of Practices & Governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities across the In-Business QA Practices & Governance team in accordance with In-Business QA standards, Citi policies, and local regulations.
  • Support the Head of Practices & Governance in leading the development of the Practices & Governance team through the coordination of training across the team.
  • Manage the Managers Control Assessment program for In-Business QA in conjunction with Client controls team.
  • Manage In-Business QA's remediation of control issues.
  • Identify and manage regulatory requirements applicable to In-Business QA.
  • Prepare responses to regulatory requests received by In-Business QA.
  • Design, create, and maintain an In-Business QA Practices & Governance SharePoint site.
  • Liaise with Internal Audit and second-line of defence assurance functions for In-Business QA.
  • Lead the execution of thematic WCR program QA reviews to identify thematic root causes from QA reviews and provide insights to senior Wholesale Credit Risk management.
Requirements:
  • Strategic orientation to ensure the ICM organization continues to be positioned as a thoughtful and proactive partner on driving best practices to support safety and soundness within ICM and Citi.
  • Proven culture carrier.
  • Ability to think ahead and plan.
  • Impeccable interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and exert influence with and without direct authority.
  • Organizational skills to manage time and prioritize effectively with little to no supervision.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to audiences of varying levels of seniority.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in Internal Audit or Risk management.
  • Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary.
Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree.
