About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to be our main point of contact for quality and engineering issues during program life. The ideal candidate will have experience in 1st tier automotive and sound knowledge of quality best practices.
Responsibilities:
This role reports directly to the Quality Manager and involves working closely with project management, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Support project management in defining test equipment and gauging needs.
- Provide PPIR reports, interim PSW, and alerts as required.
Requirements:
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- Proven experience in quality engineering within 1st tier automotive.
- Familiarity with APQP and PPAP quality best practices.
- Prior experience in project-based quality is highly desirable.
Location: Telford
Estimated Salary Range: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
