Freelance Phlebotomist

Role Overview

Ally Health is seeking a skilled Freelance Phlebotomist to join our team in Aberdeen and surrounding areas. As a Freelance Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality phlebotomy services to our clients in their homes, working closely with our Clinical Operations Team to ensure seamless communication and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out blood tests and domiciliary visits as a lone practitioner, with support from our Clinical Team via phone and mobile app.
• Seek advice and guidance from senior colleagues or our Clinical Team on matters outside your expertise or knowledge.
• Ensure timely collection and processing of blood samples, documenting all activities in patient records.
• Report any risks or concerns to our Clinical Team, adhering to company protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
• Be comfortable using digital tools to coordinate job assignments and record patient notes.
• Take steps to maintain a safe and healthy working environment, respecting patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Maintain awareness of health, welfare, and safety issues affecting colleagues, patients, and self, reporting incidents or near-miss events to the Clinical Operations Manager.
