Welder Job Opportunity

Sure Start Staff is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Welder TIG/MIG to work with our manufacturing client based in Bolton.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high-quality welds are produced in line with company drawings and tolerances.
  • Report any discrepancies to the line supervisor.
  • Dress and finish parts to standard requirements.
  • Inspect work to drawings and maintain quality standards.
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements and operate welding machines safely.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of welding processes, symbols, and technical drawings.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to use measuring equipment and converse in English.
