Paralegal Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal Intern to join our team at Volvo Group. As a Paralegal Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects within different areas of law, assisting the Legal Counsel with regular team responsibilities.

• Contract Review and Update: Review and update contractual templates to reflect changes in legislation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Commercial Contract Drafting: Assist with drafting commercial contracts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Business Process Improvement: Identify and implement necessary changes in business processes to reflect regulatory changes, ensuring seamless operations.
• Internal Policy Development: Draft internal policy documentation, briefing notes, and training materials to educate the business on legal issues.
• Due Diligence and Risk Mitigation: Conduct due diligence and take steps to mitigate risk, as part of the compliance function.
• Additional Projects: Participate in additional stand-alone team projects, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.

• Qualifying Law Degree: Studying for a qualifying law degree (LLB) with 2 years completed, placement between 2nd & 3rd study years.
• Academic Grades: Academic grades on track for a First or High 2:1 in their chosen studies.
• Communication and Multitasking Skills: Advanced communication and multitasking skills, proficiency in Office 365, and proficient in written/spoken English.
