Development Engineer

Anord Mardix, a global leader in critical power infrastructure, is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to support our EMEA Supply Chain team. This role can be located in Blackburn, Kendal, or Dundalk.
Key Responsibilities- Select suitable suppliers based on quality, capability, pricing, delivery, and environmental considerations.
- Implement new supplier qualification through capability matching, supplier risk assessment, and onsite qualification audits.
- Collaborate with suppliers to assess capabilities and improve processes/products.
- Track new qualified parts quality performance to ensure they meet customer quality requirements.
- Analyze supplier data and performance to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Technical background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Proven experience in supplier development or quality engineering (training will be provided).
- Strong technical capabilities, investigative abilities, and initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
