Job Opportunity

TPF Recruitment is supporting a reputable firm of chartered accountants in their search for an experienced Accounts & Audit Senior. Our client is a dynamic and friendly firm with a strong staff retention rate and a great working environment.

You will work in a general practice capacity across accounts, audit, and tax, with the remit of the position tailored to your experience and aspirations.

You will be offered exposure to a range of businesses, primarily owner-managed, from £10m to £100m turnover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a varied portfolio of clients, predominantly owner-managed and some not-for-profit organisations.
  • Lead audits from planning through to completion, liaising with the team and client as necessary.
  • Provide accountancy and taxation advice and support to clients as needed.
  • Host and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
  • Assist in the management of a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants.
  • Mentor colleagues, reviewing their work and encouraging prompt and high-quality delivery and service.
  • Develop and expand the team's skillset through development plans, training, and support.
  • Contribute to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • At least 3 years' practice experience.
  • Highly organised.
  • Strong communication skills.
