Job Title: ST4 Registrar in A&E

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ST4 Registrar to join our team in A&E at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Respiratory Specialist, you will provide specialist input for acute respiratory admissions, ensuring the highest quality care and optimum effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist respiratory input for acute respiratory admissions
  • Support the development of sub-specialist services according to your expertise
  • Participate in the general medical on call and provide care to general medical patients
  • Lead the trauma and cardiac arrest teams in the resuscitation room
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year experience in NHS Emergency Medicine
  • Ability to be the clinician in charge of the department at night and offer support and leadership to more junior members of the team
  • Confidence in managing resuscitation room cases, including leading the trauma and cardiac arrest teams
  • ALS, APLS, ATLS, and MRCEM certifications

About You:
  • Valid GMC
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clinical attachment complete
  • Minimum of 3-6 months paid experience in the NHS/UK
