Halcyon Health & Social Care is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Care Manager to join their team.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the welfare of children and young people, ensuring their safety and protection from harm. They will also be responsible for managing and supervising a team of Children's Support Workers, ensuring regulatory compliance under the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Framework for Inspection.
Main Duties:- Ensure the well-being and safety of children and young people in care
- Manage and supervise a team of Children's Support Workers
- Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards are met
- Develop and implement care plans to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide a responsive and supportive service
- At least 2 years' experience in a children's home within the last 5 years
- At least 1 year's experience in a supervisory or management role in a children's home
- Experience of direct work with people who have moderate to severe learning disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions, significant physical impairment, and/or complex health needs
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
