Rural Parcel Handler

Pertemps Banbury is seeking Temporary Postal Delivery Workers to join their team at the Chipping Norton Delivery Office.

We are looking for 4 individuals to work on a temporary assignment, supporting Royal Mail in delivering parcels and post to residential and commercial properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering parcels and post to residents and businesses, while providing exceptional customer service.

The role involves working 5 shifts per week, including either a Saturday or Sunday. Shifts will be approximately 1pm to 7pm Monday to Friday, 12pm to 6pm on either a Saturday or Sunday.

Please note that this position involves delivering both post on foot and parcels via van. A valid UK driving licence is required, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
• Ability to drive vans
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivation and a love of the outdoors
• Good levels of fitness to meet demands of the role
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Resilience and flexibility
• Knowledge of the Banbury area and surrounding villages (advantageous)

Estimated Salary: £13.37-£14.49 per hour (£270-£290 per week).
