Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the administration team within Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an Administration Support Officer, you will provide effective and efficient administrative support to our clinical colleagues.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have proven organizational skills, and be able to work independently. You will be responsible for organizing and prioritizing your own workload, meeting set deadlines, and balancing this with the demands of this diverse and varied role.

Main Duties
  • Type confidential correspondence, reports, and other documentation to a high standard within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure the efficient and accurate recording of data on all electronic systems.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate filing systems, including archiving following current legislation.
  • Access admin shared email and action requests appropriately.
  • Deal with incoming telephone calls and team voicemail.
  • General administrative duties as requested by the locality team.
  • Undertake any ad-hoc duties as required by the Service Manager.
