About the Role

The Regulatory Affairs Associate Director will play a crucial part in developing, managing, and optimizing artwork for pharmaceutical products. This includes ensuring compliance with Dechra branding guidelines, regional regulations, and legal requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in regulatory affairs within a global pharmaceutical role, preferably in animal health, as well as experience in pharmaceutical artwork and/or labeling processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the global artwork team to coordinate new artwork production for product packaging according to regulatory legislation and Dechra packaging guidelines.
  • Collaborate with regulatory, marketing, manufacturing, and product development teams to ensure accuracy and compliance of all artwork in accordance with industry regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA) and Marketing Authorizations.
  • Create, implement, and oversee best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the artwork management process, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in packaging technology to continuously improve the artwork development process.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share ideas and innovations that enhance productivity and quality.

This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills, including delegation, conflict resolution, capacity planning, career development, and motivational leadership. The successful candidate will also have robust knowledge of effective management skills and be able to develop processes and infrastructure to drive team productivity and quality of deliverables.

What You'll Need
  • Experience in regulatory affairs within a global pharmaceutical role, ideally in animal health.
  • Experience of pharmaceutical artwork and/or labeling processes.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Robust knowledge of effective management skills, including delegation, conflict resolution, capacity planning, career development, and motivational leadership.
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to develop processes and infrastructure to drive team productivity and quality of deliverables.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including a generous pension scheme, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development.
