About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at IWG plc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our business centres.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the centre is in excellent working order.
  • Conduct weekly checks on lighting systems and replace parts as needed.
  • Clear blockages and maintain sinks, toilets, drains, and kitchen grease traps.
  • Ensure gullies and drains are clear and the centre and grounds are litter-free.
  • Maintain safe pedestrian access to the Centre, particularly in adverse weather conditions.
  • Dispose of waste materials safely and ensure it is available for collection as required.
  • Perform painting and decorating tasks as needed.
  • Carry out first-line maintenance on fixtures and fittings, including tightening screws and minor repairs.
  • Monitor stock levels of consumable items and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Report emergencies related to gas, electric, and water supply.
  • Conduct grass cutting and grounds maintenance.
  • Clean carpets and furniture.
  • Clean the internal face of external windows and other internal glass.
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations and Centre policies.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in providing maintenance services in a customer-facing environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work within strict schedules and tight deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of safe working practices and Health and Safety guidelines.
