Job Title: Paraplanner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paraplanner to support our team of financial professionals in Darlington. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing financial reports, analysing client objectives, and delivering customised financial advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyse financial products and services to provide well-informed recommendations for clients.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of clients' circumstances, portfolios, and objectives, culminating in tailored recommendation reports for Financial Advisers.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial planning reports, suitability letters, and other written information for clients.
  • Provide essential technical support to Financial Advisers to maintain and enhance client relationships and deliver superior financial advice.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies and procedures.
  • Build relationships with clients.
  • Attend meetings with clients to complete paperwork where required.
  • Assist the leadership team with some compliance and T&C tasks, training on this will be provided.
  • Other ad hoc technical and administrative tasks to support the advisers and clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience within an equivalent role.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial planning and financial products and services.
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
