Rotating Equipment Specialist

Verto People is seeking a highly skilled Rotating Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a Rotating Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for providing service, maintenance, repair of pumps and pump related products at the workshop near Sheffield.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background with experience servicing, maintaining, and fitting pumps and pump related products. They will also have the ability to conduct testing and control checks on pumps, as well as identify machinery damage and conduct basic electrical testing if required.

A competitive salary of £34,000 - £38,000 per annum is offered, along with overtime, annual bonus, pension, and additional benefits. If you have a passion for rotating equipment and want to take your career to the next level, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide service, maintenance, repair of pumps and pump related products at the workshop near Sheffield
• Conduct testing and control checks on pumps
• Identify machinery damage and conduct basic electrical testing if required
• Complete technical documentation as work progresses
• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time and liaise with various engineering departments

Requirements:
• Experience as a rotating equipment engineer, pump engineer, pump fitter, fitter, hydraulic fitter, hydraulic engineer, valve technician, installation engineer, pump installation engineer, mechanical fitter, electro-mechanical fitter, mechanical engineer, service engineer, electrical engineer, workshop engineer, service technician or similar
• Strong mechanical engineering background with experience servicing, maintaining and fitting pumps and pump related products
• Ability to conduct testing and control checks on pumps
• Engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree advantageous
• Willingness to commute to the workshop near Sheffield and carry out work on customer sites in the area
