Accounts Payable Manager

Office Angles UK is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of 4, overseeing all Accounts Payable functions within the organisation.
- Plan, review, and evaluate the team's tasks and performance to ensure efficient operations.
- Establish and implement procedures and guidelines in line with CAPP standards to mitigate the risk of theft, fraud, and errors.
- Reconcile Accounts Payable transactions and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and collaborate with the wider accounts team.
- Ensure proper coding and posting of invoices to the correct general ledger accounts.
- Support testing for projects and upgrades when required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in the accounts payable function.
- Accounts payable qualification CAPP or similar.
- Experience as an Accounts Payable Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Customer-focused approach and proficiency in Oracle-based systems.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience working with multiple Outlook inboxes.
