Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join our team in Leeds.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Organize and prepare payment runs, as well as adhoc payment requests.
  • Administer the lease system.
  • Manage online banking administration.
  • Allocate sales and purchase ledger payments.
  • Assist with organizing and reviewing company car purchases/hire agreements.
  • Maintain and develop Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
  • Undertake general administration tasks and provide support across the team when necessary.
  • Assist with carbon footprint reporting.

About You:

  • You will have an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience within accounts or administration in a busy office environment.
  • Studying or wanting to study a financial qualification is advantageous.
  • You will have good working knowledge of MS Excel, including lookups and pivot tables.
  • Excellent communication skills with a polite, professional, and persuasive telephone manner are essential.
  • A keen eye for detail, including data input/order processing skills, is required.
  • You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A clean UK driving license is essential.
  • Prior experience using Open Accounts would be ideal.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
